Dr Eniola Ajayi Receives A Letter of Credence as Nigeria's Ambassador to Hungary


Dr Eniola Olaitan Ajayi is a Doctor of Optometry Graduated from University of Benin with a Master of Philosophy in Ocular Pathology from University of London with postgraduate research and training from Moorfield’s Eye Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital in London.

She was the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in Ekiti State from December 2010 to January 2013 and was later re-appointed as the Commissioner for Environment between February 2013 and October 2014. She won the Elegance Magazine Best Commissioner of the year award for year 2012.

Dr Ajayi is a motivator and a Minister of God in her local assembly - Daystar Christian centre, catering to the well-being of Couples believing God for children and those who are already pregnan

Nigeria's Ambassador to Hungary, Dr. Eniola Ajayi on Wednesday, said the present administration goals is to see Nigeria regaining her sense of self-worth, and a sense of esteem and pride among comity of nations.
According to her, with President Muhammadu Buhari hardworking team there is no magic wand about it, it will require a renewed sense of responsibility from each of us. "Yes, government must lead, but each of us must do our part in rebuilding this beloved country of ours."
Speaking shortly after receiving her credence letter as Nigeria's Ambassador to Hungary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted by the Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, H.E Hon. Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim in Abuja.



Dr. Ajayi used the occasion to thank the President and the leaders of her party, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State who has reposed confidence in her by grooming her to represent the country in Hungary. Under President Buhari's leadership, Nigeria will always be a faithful friend to the good people of Hungary with concurrent accreditation to Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
In the same vein, Ambassador Ajayi spoke on behalf of other Ambassadors who are being presented with the letters of credence.
In her speech, she said, "We hope to make the life of every Nigerian count through inclusion at our various countries of posting whether; young or old, weak or strong, Male or Female irrespective of tribe or religion. We hope to support in the rebuilding of our national image that our President is already achieving abroad. We hope to attract more International investments to NIGERIA in various sectors for a mutually beneficial relationship with our host countries. With God on our side, we shall not disappoint President Muhammadu Buhari, The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs and the people of the Federal republic of Nigeria."

"We would like to reassure him and all Nigerians that the confidence will not be misplaced. We understand the enormous tasks ahead, especially in the current social, environmental, political, security and economic situations across the world." She added.
